Peter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in both Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC. His professional experience spans community mental health, where he served as a clinical supervisor, as well as private practice in a multi-specialty setting. He brings a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, focusing on creating a safe and trusting environment where clients can explore their concerns and work toward meaningful change.

He is a training analyst with the Philadelphia Association of Jungian Analysts, and his perspective is informed through the lens of depth psychology. Maria is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate the impact of trauma.  Licensed in Iowa and Washington, DC, she has dedicated much of her career to working with survivors of sexual violence, supporting them through the stages of healing with compassion and respect.   In addition to her clinical practice, Maria has served as a mentor and advocate for trauma-informed care, ensuring that survivors feel seen, validated, and empowered.

Approach

Maria inegrates a variety of evidence-based and expressive techniques, including EMDR, clinical hypnosis, cognitivie behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused methods, and narrative therapy.  She also incorporates creative and somatic approaches to help clients reconnect with their sense of agency.  Her practice is deeply rooted in compassion, warmth, and unconditional positive regard, guided by Angela Davis's words: "I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change... I am changing the things I cannot accept." Maria's work centers on helping clients build resilience, reframe painful experiences, and create meaningful pathways forward.

As someone who is differently-abled herself, Molly brings both strong clinical expertise and lived experience to her work. She understands that while individuals with disabilities face the same emotional challenges as the general population, they often encounter additional barriers. Her practice offers a compassionate, inclusive space for clients to explore their experiences and find meaningful solutions.


Molly does not believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy. She begins with a thorough assessment and collaborates with each client to determine the therapeutic methods that will best support their goals. While trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, she places the highest value on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.


Molly earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Catholic University of America in 2005 and actively pursues ongoing professional development through workshops and trainings. She is deeply committed to fostering self-autonomy and empowering clients to discover their own strengths, insights, and path forward.
